Comment: Hi Norma! Yes, unfortunately my wife and I didn't end up making it to the snail mail meetup. We were camping the following weekend and ended up spending most of the meetup weekend prepping the trailer for travel (it was nice to take a 4-day weekend to get out of the heat). Yes, Shirley does do a great job organizing. Hopefully we can make the next one and see each other. Thank you so much for participating in the chunk-o swap, it's nice when my wife or I get to swap with you! Best, Rick
Comment: I love to play with fabric. lately I have been sewing kid bags, doll dresses out of scraps(donate them) and making me some more clothes. I am allergic to man made fibers so that leaves out store clothes. I have to take apart the seams and resew with all cotton thread. I have to get a wedding gift quilt done for one niece and a baby quilt for another one. Wedding quilt next year for another one. Just have 1 niece left in HS. She will get an afghan.
Comment: Intriguing postcard for Mate for a Centaur, and it's the first I've seen of a QR code to read a chapter. Not sure I'll be jumping in, though! Thanks for the PC and your note.
Comment: Norma Sue! How are you? (It's always a pleasure to swap with you!) Love Mario Kart packaging on the Capri Sun! I have many family memories of my wife and I playing Kart with our son. Also love the mail snail...did you draw that freehand or is it a stamp? Hopefully my wife and I will get to see you at the mail meetup this weekend. Best, Rick
Comment: What a cute little chunk! And one of my partner's favorite flavors, too 🍉 I grew up in a different state, myself. I haven't visited family in about four years, though. Maybe it's time~ 💜 Thank you for the lovely swap, friend!
Comment: Wow! Thanks so much for giving me this insight into one of your novels. I really really admire your writing skills and I love the idea of reimagining the centaurs' world. Chapeau! All the best to you 🍀
Comment: Thank you for your PC and recommendations I have added to my list. Witch of Blackbird Pond has been a fav of mine too. Girl with Pearl Earring is next. Happy Reading!
Comment: Awesome postcard again!! You are a very interesting person! I enjoy reading your postcards and look forward when you're a partner to send to me!
Comment: I agree, swap history would be helpful. So would a feature that shows if you have been rated for a swap, instead of having to search through your profile. Thank you for the cute Leprechaun Hugs card.
Comment: Thank you for this pretty rainbow envelope. You are such a great artist, I just love the unicorn pc and the sticker. We swapped in pc swaps before, no duplicates here. Oh, and the washi is very pretty as well 💖 Love from NZ, Carola
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful St. Patrick's Day card! Thank you so much for the fairy goodies and the fairy postcard! I love your beautiful message! Happy early St. Patrick's Day! Have a good day!
Comment: This is such a cool idea!! and perfect for this swap :) I skimmed the chapter quickly and really enjoy the way you describe characters :) Looking forward to settling down for a proper read!
Comment: Kia Ora from New Zealand, Norma! Thank you for the resent of this chunk pc 💕. I can recommend checking out Mt Sunday here in NZ, which is Edoras in LotR - it's beautiful. Love from NZ, Carola
Comment: Thank you for the great swap! I love the shamrocks and rainbow card. I really appreciate the stickers, bookmark and die cut shamrocks. Very thoughtful of you. I was so excited when you wrote that you are a published writer! I am so excited to meet another writer! Would love to chat with you about the process. Your postcard will stay in my permanent collection. I love mythological fantasy!
Comment: You've been to California more recently than I have. It's been 35 years for me. I would really like to visit northern California again. Thank you for the postcard.
Comment: Thank you for your nice note and lovely PC. I raised two daughters and now a granddaughter. I have learned to appreciate pink and frilly. One would be hard pressed to find something too ‘girly’ for me. 😃
Comment: Norma! Thank you for such a stunning beautiful postcard! I put it out on display! I'm going to definitely check out your website! It's such a gorgeous piece of art! Thank you so much for sharing with me! ❤
Comment: Oh my goodness, I'd forgotten about Swedish Fish they're gluten free too, I need to get some. My sister lives in Phoenix too, and I am pleased we have so much in common- my craft spaces are always a work in progress :o) . Have a fantastic 2024! Thanks
Comment: It was great meeting you at the Snail Mail meetup too! I'm so glad that you've found fun in Swap-Bot and in the Chunk-O-Cardboard swaps. Both are very special to my wife and I as we've been swap-botting for a while now, and really enjoy the chunk swap...from cutting old cardboard to writing the swaps, it's a family activity!!! 1) I thought it was really cool that you bought Graham, graham crackers...I'm goofy like that...but hey, anything to stop him from eating him dog treats, right? I really hope that we get to be swap partners again (or that you get to partner with my wife), I hear great things about your artistic chunks! Thanks for the sending! I hope you have a great 2024!
Comment: Thanks for the yummy chunk.
It sounds like you may have a future beekeeper on your hands. It’s a big initial investment but pays off if you stick to it and it’s a lot of fun.
Comment: Wow, the postcard you sent is so beautiful, you are a great artist! Do you ever sell postcards in your shop? If you do I would totally buy some to use for Postcrossing! 🧜♀️ Thanks so much and have a wonderful day 😊
Comment: What a beautiful postcard. You have an amazing talent. My last apartment had a giant Opuntia in the yard and it would get so overloaded with fruit the paddles would sometimes break off under the weight.
