Comment: Sent 8 days late with no communication. Nothing like getting holiday stickers way after the holiday.

Comment: Unfortunately, I also have to rate you a 3. While I did receive tape from you, you didn't follow my very detailed, posted swap instructions. I realize you are a newbie and we were all new once; however, that is why I make sure to put very detailed instructions, so everyone can read, understand, and learn the best way to send washi tape swaps. Washi tape needs to be put on a shiny surface so it can be removed easily. The surface you chose would have been fine if you put clear tape on it first, or had it laminated. The very last bolded text in my instructions were that no winter holiday tapes were to be sent, and 6 of the 8 you sent to me were winter holiday tapes. When I asked you if you would re-send, you told me that all you had were holiday tapes. Also, while you did decorate your envelope, it wasn't with tape, as was one of the instructions. Alas, as your other partners have stated and I agree, if you decide you would like to re-do and resend the swap, this time by following the stated swap instructions, we would all be happy to re-rate you with a better rating.
Response: Could I resend them

Comment: I messaged you about this swap, you read he message and didn't respond. The hostess urged you to fix this swap, again you chose not to. This should have been rated a one (1), technically I received nothing. The swap was for washi tape, I received mostly deco tape and a few pieces of cheap paper tape, not true washi. The 8 pieces where to be 12" long, the one piece I tore off was only 8" long. The tape was to be wrapped on a shiny or tape covered card, yours are on a journal card and wrapped so wonky that I can't even remove parts to use on envelopes because the tape sticks to the plain paper. I received nothing but a Christmas card in a sticker covered envelope (which was to be washi decorated). I am sorry that you didn't understand this swap - in the future I suggest you ask, we are all here to help. I will be happy to rerate if you chose to resend this swap. The hostess has angeled.

Comment: I hate to give you a 3, but what you sent did not meet the swap requirements. If you want to resend with actual washi tape, I would be glad to re-rate. Added 2/11/15: Yes if you resend with washi tape and meet the requirements of the swap, I will change your rating to a 5. You might want to re-read the swap description to make sure you meet the requirements.

Comment: The washi tape I received was not true washi tape, which made it difficult to re-use, which was the point of the swap. I tried to give Lupita the benefit of the doubt, but the tape was also wrapped around a paper card, which meant the tape stuck to the surface of the card and peeled up the design of the card, making the tape unusable. The swap host specifically required the swappers to send true washi tape and to wrap it around a playing card or other card covered in packing tape for ease of removal. I contacted Lupita on 12/23 to alert her to the non-conforming swap and gave her the opportunity to make it right; however, she never responded to me (although the message is marked “read”). Lupita, I’m sorry to rate a 3, but it’s only fair to other swappers to rate you honestly. It’s important to read all of the details of the swap and to exchange items in accordance with those details. I would be happy to re-rate if you re-send. In the meantime, the swap host has angeled this swap.
