Send a Postcard on Leap Day

2012 is a Leap Year so we get one more day this year to send out postcards!

I just found out that In the English speaking world, on a leap day it was permitted for women to propose marriage to men.

Supposedly there was a 1288 law that required a fine be levied if a man refused a woman’s proposal. Because men felt they were at risk, women were then only allowed to propose once in a blue moon (Leap Day).

I guess there are more funny customs around Leap Day here and there around the world???

It's a fact that we only have Leapday once every 4 years and for this swap we send out our postcards on February 29th. It should be one funny or odd postcard to each partner since Leapday is an odd day! Surprise your partner with something differend, crazy, funny, odd.....just keep it clean,ok?

This is senders choice so you could have your postcards ready and send out in time eventhough there's just a few days between the sing up date and the date to send date!
