Description:

For this swap you will crochet 1 square as closest you can to measure 10 inches by 10 inches and mail it to 1 partner.

You will have 1 week to crochet it and send it out to your partner.

Yarn type, color, and pattern is senders choice, but it is always nice to read your partners profile to personalize it.

Please send something you would like to receive.

I will continue this swap until we have made and swaped enough to make a throw or blanket to the size you are happy with. So you can join all or just a few swaps.

Please only join if you are planning to send. I can not angel for this swap.

This swap is international as it wont cost much to send.

NO 1's or 3's in past month,

but 3's with good explanation ok.

Must sign in at least 2 days before partners are assigned so I know that you are still active.

If you joined the previous swap, it must be sent by the send by date or let me and your partner know it will be late for whatever reason. If the previous swap has not been sent by the send by date and I have not been notified that it will be late, you will be dropped before partners for the current swap are assigned.

Hi Everyone! I love love love love these swaps! they help me so much in completing the blankets I make for sick and traumatized children. Would my partner please make my square either pastels or bright primary colors? they will help me complete my blankets:0) Teri

I think this is a wonderful idea for people who crochet/knit. If I may ad my two cents: run this monthly (or every two weeks), specify wool or cotton thread (so people can join the squares they receive at some point & make something of them), and (maybe) with the option to exchange the pattern as well (where available). Some of the squares I got in swaps over the years were absoloutely gorgeous, and I realy wanted to know how they were done, so sharing instructions (or a link to them) would make this swap so much better. I hope you will consider - thanx.

I'd love this sort of swap, but, lol, I doubt I could finish a 10 x 10 block in only one week! haha--I'm just a slow hooker. I'm making a hat right now that's taken me about ten days, so far--that's almost 1 row a day--especially as they got bigger!

Thank you for your ideas, but i am making my blanket out of crochet squares only so that is why i decided to swap crochet squares only. For the time allowed, i would like to get everyone's input on what they think. I just wanted to get this blanket done pretty quick and can get a square done in a day, but if everyone thinks we need two weeks please let me know and we can all decided on it. I don't want to request a certain type of yarn only because i know some are a bit more expensive than others, also people might have allergies to wool or something. Exchanging patterns was a thought i had but i do not have a printer/copy machine and my penmanship is horrible. I guess emailing the pattern could work thought. Most of my squares are simple and easy to copy, but if any of my partners want to know how it was made they can feel free to message me, although a few of my squares are made up as i go so i don't have a pattern to send. If anyone has another ideas please let me know. I would like this to be a fun project and not be stressful.

The problem here is that I always get the adress, from who'm I have to send to, on a thursday and so I need to have my square done in 3 days as saterday our sunday in Belgium postoffices are closed. So if in the future the date to sent out isn't a saterday or a sunday that would be great. Now I always have to hush to get it done, and as I take the time to look to the persons profile, to know what they like, it take's time and it's a little bit of stressy. Hope you understand my problem.
