Description:

Time to start artifixing again! This one is a little different than the ones I have hosted in the past,it will run a little longer and have more entries

To begin, you will need a journal of any size but no smaller then 5" x 7" and it must have at least 50 pages in it.So your journal should have at least 50 entries. If you do the math, this will not equal up to everyday(itsa 60+ day span), so if you happen to have a day where you didnt do anything too exciting and dont feel like writing about it, its ok. On the first page you will tell your partner a bit about yourself, where you live, your interests, etc. Then, date the rest of the pages from March 12th through May 16th(or whenever your last entry will be). You will then attach an artifix to each page for that day. For the purpose of this journal, an artifix is a keepsake of an event or a piece of ephemera from a day in your life. We’ll be collecting these items each day for two month and sharing them with our assigned partner along with a description of how we came across the item, why it was meaningful to us for that day, etc. So, it could be an appointment card from an appointment you had one day along with a description of what the appointment was for, a menu with a few sentences about what you selected from the menu that day, a receipt for something you purchased on one of the days along with a picture and a description of what you bought, or it could be a bus/train ticket along with a description about where you traveled to. If the writing on the artifix is not in English, you must translate it so it is. You MUST also write a few sentences about how you got the artifix. You are welcome to get as creative as you like in linking descriptions/pictures to the artifix, but please don’t include anything that your partner may find offensive. IMPORTANT: PLEASE USE DIFFERENT ITEMS FOR EACH DAY. THERE SHOULD NOT BE 40 OF THE SAME ITEM.NO MORE THAN 2 OF EACH ITEM. This is the most challenging part. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or post them here. Same rules always apply in my swaps, 4.9 rating and at least 5 type 3 swaps =)

Get creative! If all you did for that day was laundry, put some laundry lint in a pouch and attach it to your page =) try something new for supper? attach one of the ingredients. Did you do some crafting for the day? put your craft leftovers in there. Go for a walk and pick a flower. pick up fliers, advertisements, movie tickets, your receipt, a napkin from your favorite restaurant, etc.

on one artifix I did, I dyed my hair and used the remaining dye to decorate an artifix page. It was soo much fun =)

Yay I'm so glad to see this!!! I've done two so far. It got challenging...but in the end was so worth it. I'd have to say these type of journals are my favorite swap ever. :)

Rachel, I'm SO sorry to have to drop this!! Financial issues are causing me to have to cut back to just a few, low postage swaps. :(
