Ok, I've been thinking about this for a while and have been trying to figure out how to explain what is in my mind.... Create a picture using postage stamps - but the postage stamps have to be part of the picture. For example, maybe you have a postage stamp of a lion's head - put the stamp on your background and then finish the lion's body by drawing or collage or whatever. Maybe you could do a whole zoo of animals - with stamps for all the heads.... Or maybe you could make a flower garden using all sorts of flower postage stamps. If you have a birthday cake stamp you could draw or collage a table for it to sit on - and then add stamps of people's heads for your party guests (and then draw or collage their bodies).... The postage stamps need to be part of the picutre - not just an embellishment - does that make any sense at all? The finished piece should measure 4" x 6". Use a sturdy background - cardstock, watercolor paper, etc. Let me know if you have any questions because I know this is really confusing!! |
