A button with a pinback...usually 2 3/2 inches or the smaller ones are like 1.5 inches....

Haha! I said the same thing last week----it's called a "pin" here in USA, like the old fashioned button pins you'd wear on your coat and such. Now it's called a "pin badge" or just a "badge" I asked the same thing! Glad I'm not alone!
