If you're new to altering, what exactly is "altered art"? I like this explanation: " the transformation or 'alteration' of ordinary, everyday objects into decorative pieces using a wide variety of different techniques and materials, for example, rubber stamps, fabric, paper, paint and fibres."

I LOVE the example of an altered frame in the picture above and hope it inspires you to try something new!
