does it just have to be the country/area or can it be an attraction in the area, say a museum or an art gallery or a childern's attraction.....my town isn't really big enough to have it's own postcard/souvenirs....

@KickassPeanut - should not be a problem. As long as it is a souvenir from any tourist attraction from your country/city.
