I love to re-use items that are normally considered trash and turn it into art. For this Swap you are to make an ATC card 2.5 x 3.5 and use a mesh bag in your art somehow. The bag must remain on the card, you can not ONLY paint on the card with a mess bag, although painting with the mesh bag is allowed. Where do I get a mess bag? Mainly fruits and Vegetable bags like onions, oranges, limes, Lemons. Cards must be 2.5 x 3.5, with a sturdy backing. Work is senders choice. So you can start right away. Does anyone really sticker slap anymore? What does that meam? Please understand it goes beyond slapping a sticker. You can slap other things. Please dont just glue/slap a few things on a card. For that reason, each card needs 2 techniques: stamping, distressing edges, collage, fiber, embellishments, words, paint, glue, images, punches, brads, hand drawing, etc. Put at least your name, on the back esp if you want to get rated properly. Keep in mind if you have your full name and address on the back, then cards that get mess up at the PO have been know to be mailed by the PO back to the sender. It takes a lifetime, but I have heard of it happening. This is your art take precautions. Please put the extra 20 cents of postage on the envelope if you make your cards bulky. It is worth the extra 20 cents to prevent damage. This is your art Take precautions. I suggest you put each card in a waterproof sleeve, and tape them to a note card to prevent dancing around during mailing and again damage or gasp they rip open and get lost. This is your art take precautions. I will angel any cards. Once you have made two attempts to contact sender and have rated them a 1. Keep in mind: You flake, then you bake!!! Future swaps will be Plastic bread closures or ties. Bottle caps, Napkins. wrapping paper |
