Spring has sprung and that makes me think of garden tea parties! So here's a swap to encourage us to become a hostess with the mostest.

This differs from other tea swaps because instead of just teas, you will send and receive a FULL PARTY PACKAGE...enough for 5 guests + you!

You will send to 1 PARTNER:

  • 12 SERVINGS OF TEA - Please see your partner's profile or the comments below to see if s/he prefers loose tea or bags. Also, if they have any allergies.
  • 5 INVITATIONS w/ ENVELOPES
  • HANDMADE DECORATION(s) - Should coordinate with the style or theme established by the invitations and be enough for all guests. NUMBER OF ITEMS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON WHAT IT IS. i.e. 1 embroidered tablerunner OR 2 garlands OR 6 napkin rings OR 12 decorated sugar cubes OR 24 food picks, etc. Be creative!
  • 1 RECIPE for your favorite tea party snack
  • Pretty extras for a HEART!

This swap is US & International. Postage should not cost too much if you make lightweight decorations for your new friend abroad. Plus you might receive some exciting foreign teas!

Since this is a pretty comprehensive party-in-a-box, only swappers with 4.7 rating or above and no recent 1s. Newbies are welcome with a complete profile IF you privately message me with something to vouch for you (i.e. ebay feedback, flickr album of swaps or handmade goods, etsy account, etc).

I will ban any swappers who are questionable.

Good point, wrgmama. I don't imagine it would be too heavy to mail tea and a few extras. And have never had trouble with international customs agencies for mailing a small quantity. So let's do it!

I prefer loose and ones with lots of botanicals, dried fruit bits, etc., but will be happy with anything really.

I got my package yesterday... kind of. I have to wait and pick it up at the post office, as I wasn't home when it was delivered. Sometimes living in the city sucks.

Good evening from Spain!

Is this an international swap, I supose, that's more exiting, in Granada there is very interesting kinds of tea: english, green with hierbabuena, pakistani tea... (like chai, black spiced tea made on milk)

My SWAP will be different!

I prefer loose tea, but it really doesn't matter.
