Description:

I love to re-use items that are normally considered trash and turn it into art. This is a ongoing series, so check my profile for next month's.

Security envelopes? What is a security envelope? Security envelopes are those envelopes in which, often bills or credit card statements or other mail that might be personal are mailed in. The INSIDE of the envelope has a pattern so that the mail can NOT be read when held up to a light. Usually these are black or blue, but I have seen Green and Red too. I got one with an Australian map once, it is kinda special.

You will make 2 different cards for each partner. You will have 2 partners. You can make similar cards for the partners, they wont know. Work is senders choice. So you can start right away.

Cards must be 2.5 x 3.5, (or 64x89mm.) with a sturdy backing.

Does anyone really "sticker slap" anymore? What does that meam? Please understand it goes beyond slapping a sticker. You can slap other things. Please dont just glue/slap a few things on a card. For that reason, each card needs 2 techniques: stamping, distressing edges, collage, fiber, embellishments, words, paint, glue, images, punches, brads, hand drawing, etc.

Please make sure you write your swapbot nickname and swap name somewhere on the inside or outside of your envelope, esp if you want to get rated properly.

Please also put at least your name, on the back of the card,Keep in mind if you have your full name and address on the back, then cards that get messed up at the PO have been know to be mailed by the PO back to the sender. It takes a lifetime, but I have heard of it happening. This is your art take precautions.

Please put the extra 20 cents of postage on the envelope if you make your cards bulky. It is worth the extra 20 cents to prevent damage. This is your art Take precautions.

I suggest you put each card in a waterproof sleeve, and tape them to a note card to prevent dancing around during mailing and again damage or gasp they rip open and get lost. This is your art take precautions.

I will angel any cards. Once you have made two attempts to contact sender and have rated them a 1.

Keep in mind: You flake, then you bake!!!

Future swaps will be Plastic bread closures or ties. Bottle caps, Napkins. wrapping paper

USA ONLY swap will be separate, can be found HERE: http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/138713

I will be assigning partners after 10pm my time in Arizona. That is midnight Eastern time. That is the earliest I am allowed to push the assign button. I tend to assign right away cause I have already spent time looking at profiles of those with lower ratings etc.

You all get that this is 2 cards to 2 partners right?

If you are mailing one card you might as well be mailing two for the same postage.
