I don't know about you....but it has been on my "to do" list for quite some time to make a zippered pouch. I just love the tutorial for the "Zippered Pencil Pouch" over at Noodlehead. The instructions are simple and clear with lots of photos to see what is going on. Once you have made one...the possibilities are limitless as far as size and design. THIS SWAP IS INTERNATIONAL....because the finished item will be very flat and light and should not be overly expensive to mail. For any Canadians mailing...I would suggest placing a piece of card stock on either side of your project, and you should have no trouble mailing this as letter mail. For this swap, let's make one pencil case pouch following this tutorial. You do not need to make the car design as outlined in the pattern, but otherwise do follow the instructions concerning the amount and size of fabrics to cut......So it will be composed of two fabrics outside, and a lining fabric inside, and be complete with key ring and loop. If you do not have access to linen fabric.....use a good quality cotton instead. As you sign up for this swap please list three themes for your partner to choose from when creating your pouch. If you do not leave your themes listed below by the time partners are assigned.....the swap will be senders choice. SO...
