Description:
The April 2013 Fandom in a Bag swap is the Big Bang Theory fandom (by popular vote). Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, episodes, moments, or any other preference you may have. Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 7 different items although more is certainly encouraged (try to make it look full). Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, charms, ornaments, books, bookmarks, address labels, postcards, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fainfic, zines, etc. More specific ideas: geek reference guide for the show, a flag from Fun with Flags, physics book, bazinga button, soft kitty plushie, geeky t-shirt, etc. Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to. Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 gallon (measures about 10 inches by 11 inches or 28cm by 26.5 cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a gallon in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine). Assemble your bags during the month of March and please send by the deadline (May 1). Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be banished to the cheesecake factory and not waited on.

I love all the characters (except early Howard when he was kind of creepy and Amy when she gets super desperate). My favorites are definitely Leonard and Sheldon (but Leonard especially--Johnny Galecki is the reason I tuned into the show for its first episode). I love all they geeky references in the show, especially when it involves Wil Wheaton or other Star Trek TNG guest stars. I don't have any TBBT merch or ATCs. And I'd especially love anything Soft Kitty-related :-)

Fun! My favorites are Sheldon and Leonard, and I am also loving Amy. Things relating to the group as a whole would be fun too. My favorite reference from the show is the Soft Kitty song. If there are any knitters out there, I love the Christmas hat Penny wore in "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis." I love, love, love plushies, amigurani, and any kind of needlework/embroidery wall art. If you want to send me a t-shirt, I'm a woman's XL (or a man's large).

Heather76, I tried to find the hat on youtube clips, but just saw a regular (maybe a little darker red) santa hat. I'm so curious! Can you scrounge up a picture?

Heather76 I like that episode, but I like them all sooooo.....yeah. I have a Santa hat like that that I wear around when I'm out and about during the Christmas season, but anywho. I like them all including Howard's mom, whom we've never seen. But I especially loooove Sheldon, Penny and Amy. As I've stated before I like all of the episodes so a reference from any of them or the group as a whole would be cool.

I love them all!! Favs are Penny, Leonard, Sheldon & Wil Wheaton (especially when he wore his Guild shirt)! <3 I always love it when Sheldon's mom visits! Soft Kitty! Fun with Flags (especially Star Trek). I love it when they reference Joss Whedon - anything comic or movie/tv show geek related. Though I hate when they act like a girl in a comic book shop is like a unicorn. I'd have to say my favorite moment was when they were all together to watch Howard go into space! It was a touching moment because even Sheldon was on the edge of his seat. I also love to occasionally read Chuck Lorre production notes at the end of the show.
