Ok read the idea twice. Take 4 blank postcards that you really really like and wish that they were stamped and written on. Send all 4 in an envelope to your Partner. Your partner will be your boomerang pen pal and write back on your beloved postcards on 4 different days. You will get back 4 postcards you love. You do not need to put stamps on the 4 postcards, it will even out as each of us will need to put the stamps on the 4 cards we are sending back. Logic dictates that it would be pointless to put a USA stamp on cards being sent back to you from Australia, as that would not be considered valid postage. BUT You really need to write your mailing address on each boomerang postcard to save your boomerang pen pal the hassle. You can write a question on a post it note and ask the sender to write about that question on each post card. Nothing offensive please. For instance if I sent NM map card, I might ask the sender to tell me if they have ever been to NM. Or if I sent a cat postcard, I might write on the post it note, write about cats. PLUS you must send your boomerang sender a blank postcard as a gift for them to keep. Keep in mind that You actually get rated based on your sending the 4 cards, and you can not rate your boomerang pen pal. Please write a comment in the boomerangs pen pals profile to thank them and let them know your boomerang postcards have arrived. If you know how to add images even better. ( I do not get how to add images since I have a MAC) I made this a type 3 swap because it does involve some challenging time commitments. PLUS Boomerang Pen Pals it would be very heart felt if you could decorate in some ways the 4 beloved postcards that you are sending back by either adding stickers, rubber stamped images, colorful tape, or use colored markers somewhere. Be creative, make our beloved postcards a postcard to treasure. |
