I am IN LOVE with 1930's repro and "feed sack" prints! They seem to be all the rage right now! But, I really need to increase my stash, to have a better selection! Here is the nuts & bolts: Buy (or use from your stash) 4 different 1930's prints, 12" wide X 42" long. Cut each print into 3 - 12" squares (with approx 6" left over). Mail 1 of each print (4 to each) to 2 swappers, keep one of each print. You will have a dozen 12" charm squares in the end! Recap: Mail 4 12" squares (different) to 2 people, keep 1 set of your 4 prints. End up with 12- 12" squares of different 1930's repro fabric. Rules: Each DIFFERENT fabric has to be 100% cotton "quilting" fabric. In other words, NOT the pre-made fat quarters from Wal-Mart, JoAnn's, Hancock's and the like. I will check profiles prior to assigning partners. No Newbies without a completed profile and at least 6 ratings in the last month. Everyone else: NO 1's in past 6 months and no 3's in the past 3 months. This is my first time coordinating a swap, so please ask questions, I may have left something out of the description! |
