There is nothing I love more than creating my own journal pages. Not only do I use them to journal in, but I also include pictures, postcards, airline tickets and different things that remind me of trips I've taken or special days I want my family to remember for years to come! I also include homemade envelopes that I punch and use in my journal to put loose items in. If you have a punching system like Zutter, great, if not then you can use a single hole punch and buy a ring that opens up so you can put your pages in. Or you can punch 3 holes and buy 3 rings or use a 3-ring binder. For the cover you can use a piece of cardboard. What you can do is tear the top piece off the cardboard sheet so that the ridges are exposed. There are lots of choices to use for covers. And these make wonderful gifts! The main swap will run until we have 18 pages total in our journals. This is a way for your to practice as well as get caught up in your pages! Pages must be 6x6. I use my paper cutter to cut one 12x12 page in half and then in half again. You will have one partner with 3 different pages to send. You can do one page with lines, one with stamping and one with craft flowers...your pages do not need to only be flat, do whatever you want, but please send something you would like to receive. PLEASE, no stickers just stuck on a page! Even though this is senders choice it wouldn't hurt to look at your partners profile. To clarify, you only need to create 3 journaling pages, or the front of whatever you use (paper, card stock, etc). You can decorate the back if you want to, but it is not required. Please DO NOT PUNCH YOUR PARTNERS PAGES as this could cause them not to be able to use them. If you have any questions please shoot me a message!!! I'm here to help if you need me! EDIT: You can make an envelope for your 6x6 pages by using a 12x12 sheet of paper. The Post Office isn't too picky about the way it looks as long as you have it addressed and postage is correct. If you add a piece of cardboard it will prevent it from bending! It also helps to write "DO NOT BEND" on the envelope :) |
