While searching YouTube for little books and albums to make to add into one of my journals, I came across this simple and impressive little booklet
For this swap, you will make your partner a mini Maze Book using just a sheet of 12x12 paper.
Your book pages are not to be embellished or have panels added on. Please leave the pages blank for the receiver to alter and fill as they would like. You must however, at an absolute minimum, tape the loose pages together so that your book has solid pages.
This vid has excellent suggestions for creating pockets and a frame that are easy to do if you would like to add them to your book. If you create pockets for your book, it is not a swap requirement to make tags to fill them. You are more than welcome to add tags but it is not a requirement.
You MUST use QUALITY (brand name) DOUBLE SIDED scrapbook paper. Thin dollar store boring paper is not allowed and will not create a sturdy and quality result. Make sure that you cut and fold neatly.
Ensure that your booklet can be tied up. Use beautiful fibre pieces, fancy ribbon, leather strips etc but keep it in theme with your booklet. I attached mine using double sided tape or you could carefully thread it through the front and back panels or have stretch cord added around the book. As always there are loads of inspiring ideas online.
Embellish the front cover. This can be done as simply as adding a nice punchie/die cut or if you are feeling adventurous create a little flat masterpiece for the front. Do not add another full page piece to the front and back to create a cover. We are only using the 1 sheet of paper here.
THIS SWAP IS INTERNATIONAL so please allow for the postage costs when signing on. It will be a flat fairly envelope to send if you package your book properly as I am trying to keep all our postage costs down as much as possible.
