Description: | |
A Matryoshka doll is a Russian "nesting" doll that is actually a set of wooden carvings that are progressively smaller and smaller. You can put the smallest into the next size and that one into the next one. They are very neat! For this envelope-making swap, you will create a set of at least FOUR envelopes that are like these dolls. You will be making 4 different sized envelopes and and putting the smallest into the next smallest, and that one into the next size up.. etc. Once you have your biggest envelope filled, send it out to ONE partner! Example: I have envelopes A B C D (smallest to biggest). I'd put envelope A into B. Then I'd put B into C. Then C into D. Finally, I would write out my partner's address on the largest of the envelopes and send that out. You don't need to put anything other than the swap name and your username inside the smallest envelope. But, it's always nice to find a surprise note in a swap, right? This is open to newbies with a well-filled out profile. I'm sure that people would like to know more than two or three paragraphs about you. You will rate a 5 if you receive 3 unused envelopes inside of a handmade envelope. I am most definitely open to angeling if you don't receive any contact from your partner and then rate them appropriately. Enjoy! |
