Description: | |
For this swap you will make four twinchies for one partner, each one must have a texture to them other than flat paper/cardstock. You can use things like sanded kraftcore, torn mulberry paper, magic mesh, textured ribbon/lace, doilies, fancy textured papers, velvet, fabric, etc. You can also make your own textures using glitter glue, stickles, painting techniques (not just a single layer of paint), layering of different materials, etc. These are just suggestions so you are free to come up with your own ideas. Each twinchie must have a minimum of two different textures though you can use the same texture on different twinchies. Twinchies are 2"x2" square pieces of art. Make sure to mount each twinchie onto a sturdy back or start with a sturdy base (like heavy cardstock, cereal boxes, thin cardboard, layer two pieces of thin cardstock, etc.) 'Sturdy' means that if you put your index finger on one edge and your thumb on the opposite edge and lightly press (sort of like pinching) the twinchie will not bend or flex. Sign the back of the card with:
For Mailing: Do not permanently mount your twinchies. You can use something non-permanent (like washi tape or deco tape) to attach them to a card so that they lay flat. I don't recommend using scotch, masking, duct, or packaging tape as that can leave a heavy residue. You can also put each twinchie in a small bag or ATC sleeve and use any type of tape to attach each bag to a card so that they lay flat. |
