Description: | |
Inspired and copied from @TC s swap (with her permission since her version was US only and I’m in Canada). In tough times, it's easy to focus on all the things we don't have and forget to appreciate what we have. This swap isn't about that. In the spirit of the “upcoming for the US and past for Canada†Thanksgiving holiday, this swap is to get us thinking about all the things for which we should be grateful. You will send TWO things to your partner: ○1. A LETTER that includes at least 3 paragraphs explaining what you are thankful for. Each paragraph should mention something from one of the following categories, and all three categories should be covered in your letter: ♦ person So, as an example: you might write a paragraph about why you are grateful for your best friend (person), a second paragraph about being thankful for your public library (place), and a third paragraph about your appreciation for coffee (thing). Three paragraphs, three different topics. You get the idea. (The letter can be typed or handwritten). This part can be prepared before swap deadline. ○2. A LITTLE FLAT SOMETHING for your partner to enjoy. Check their profile for specific likes/dislikes. Ideas: stickers, bookmark, artist trading card, postcard, notecard, die cuts, etc. Can be handcrafted or store-bought. Handcrafted items should be well-made, something you would be happy to receive. Now the fun part… Requirements: Ratings: I will check profiles before assigning partners and I will ban anyone who seems fishy or that I’m uncomfortable with (even late senders in my previous swaps). I might sound harsh but I’m trying to avoid unpleasant experience for good swappers. If any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to PM me (as communication is the key). This swap is meant to be fun, so PLEASE no flakers. Should there be any, I will Angel (or find an angel) if necessary. |
