This is a "Random Act of Kindness" swap.

My sister Amanda is turning 35 on November 19th ... Birthday's in our family aren't very fun times. Our family is a Scrooge family unfortunately. I want to do something to make her day as happy and thoughtful as possible!

So my wish is that people could send her a birthday card personalized with a little message.

She likes coupons (LOVES Dunkin Donut coupons), stickers and little odds and ends as well if you feel like including something. It's not necessary ... but optional.

note When I "assign" partners ... mail off the card to Amanda, then send a quick email to your assigned "partner" saying that you sent the card. It can be just a sentence or two ... or can be descriptive. I just want you to be able to get rated for doing a kind deed!

Hey Jan, there's actually a group on SB that loves to do this kind of thing, and you don't even have to set up a swap and worry about how to do ratings. Check out the Happy SwapBots RAKs group.

It's my first swap of this sort ... and I'm not up and up with the message boards and forums as much as I should be.

Would it be okay to have you all send a quick email to the computer generated "assigned" partner saying you sent the item and then that person can go give the rating??? Not sure ...

You can definitely tell her that her lil sister Jan is how you got her contact/addy info. She has done palling over the years so I don't think you'll scare her though. :)
