Description:

Do you start the New Year planning to do a better job of eating healthy foods? ;-) Let's swap with one another to make healthy eating a bit more fun! For this swap, you will send your partner approximately $3 worth of healthy snacks. Please enclose a note to explain why you chose to send the snack or snacks that you did; after all, eating healthily can have different meanings for each of us. This swap is sender's choice, but please make a note in the comments section if you have any allergies or foods you absolutely won't eat.

We will:

  • Have 1 partner.

  • Send a healthy snack or snacks worth approximately $3 US / 2 EUR.

  • Send a note wishing your partner a happy new year and telling them why you selected the snack(s) you did.

All participants will be screened prior to assigning partners, and I will remove anyone with cause for concern (overdue swaps, unaddressed 1s or 3s, etc.). My philosophy is "better safe than sorry".

These things are also very important in sending out a nice swap, and they are considered requirements of this swap:

  • Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.

  • Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host before the send by date has passed .

  • Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Zip-top baggies are smart for containing unexpected breaks and leaks. Boxes rather than envelopes should be used for fragile items. We all appreciate the efforts taken to keep our swaps enjoyable!

Here's to a healthy but yummy 2014!
