I gave this series a bit of a break over Christmas as I am sure everyone had a lot going on, but I wanted to continue it this year as I love my collection of stitched ATCs. The theme for this ATC is winter. Here in the UK, winter is turning out to be wet, windy and cold with widespread flooding. Perhaps it is the same for you. Perhaps you even have snow. In any case, the motif on your ATC should somehow represent winter, whether it be an umbrella, a snowman, a pair or wellies, rain clouds, warm mittens, a warm fire, a snowy scene etc. etc. You will send 1 ATC to 1 partner. Cross-stitch ATCs are really easy to make as your stitched design has to be small enough to fit on a standard sized ATC (2.5 in x 3.5 in). Your design doesn't need to fit the whole ATC. Try to set your stitching off by using papers and embellishments. Ensure that your ATC is something that you would be happy to receive. You can find many free patterns for small motifs on the internet. Make sure you write the theme on the back, along with your name and username. Use a sturdy backing for the ATC, and keep it to the standard ATC size. I will angel for the swap if necessary. Minimum rating 4.97 with no recent unexplained 1s or 3s or late swaps on your dashboard. (The image is of a summer ATC, but it is just to give you an idea of how you could make one!) |
