You know the file folders we use everyday for business...the 8 1/2" X 11" kind that are now made by designers, and selling in stores for $10 for a set of 4! Let's decorate our own and swap them out.

Who: Only those with a high rating, and a clean history of mailing their swaps out. I will review your history. We will each have 2 partners to mail to.

What: Mail each partner, 2 - 8 1/2" x 11" hand decorated file folders. So...you will be making a total of 4 folders (more if you want a few for your self!)

When: Sign up until January 15, 2007. Mail out by February 1, 2007

Why: Bring art into the business of life!

Where: World Wide

Please make sure to include both SWAP BOT, and FILE FOLDER SWAP somewhere on the envelope, or inside. I join a ton of swaps, and I am frustrated when I don't know what swap to attribute mailings to.

Also, please don't tape the heck out of your packages. It might cause your art to be cut or torn.

I had never seen decorated file folders until I read about this swap. I researched them on the internet and wow. What a cool concept. I am in!!

I checked my dollar store and they didn't have them but the Walgreen's near me had a pack of 48 for $5.00. I needed folders anyway and I thought this was quite a deal. Then I picked up some decorative paper at the scrapbook shop and now I just need to get my creative juices working!

Hello thepinkkitchen and Laura, Sad to say but really happy you both are watching here so I can just answer with one little quick note. Sence Jan. 15th I have been having lots of medical tests done as well as trying to get my swaps done and working at my job... This weekend I should have quite a few swaps ready to drop at the post office. Sometime this week I recieved my folders from the pink kitchen Oh how special they are I really love them both and the elephant is/was so meaningful to me... at this time I'm sort of emotional and sentimental usually I'm just corney but my life has taken quite a turn and this swapin stuff is really wonderful for my spirits all you gals are so sweet. I hope you dont feel like you will not get and become discouraged I am not a no sender I will get these out as soon as I can. Sorry for writing so much, Connie

My first no send... very disappointing. I\'m just glad we had 2 partners in this swap. At least it wasn\'t a complete bust!
