Find New E-pals

I am always itching to make new friends from all around the world, but the rising postage costs can be pretty restrictive. This swap is for anyone looking for email pals (like pen pals, but over email). You should be open to a long term association, though that is not a requirement of this swap.

For this swap you will send one introductory email to three partners. Please do not keep it overtly short and try being as talkative as you can. Let's say the minimum length is 500 words and there is no maximum. You could write about yourself, your family, pets, your city and country, job, hobbies, a typical day etc. Remember to ask many questions too, so if your partner decides to reply, they have a lot to say in return. Given the wide range of topics available, 500 words shouldn't be a problem.

Send your letter in the body of the email and not as an attachment. You can either send the same content to all three partners or alter it according to your partner's profile.

You will rate your partner a 5 if they send you an intro email of 500 words or more. The heart is at your discretion, but a 5 is a must if the requirements are fulfilled. Whether you decide to reply to the introductory email sent your way and continue the association will be totally up to you.

Newbies are welcome, but please take time to fill out your profile. Rating requirement: 4.9 and no unresolved 3's and 1's in the last 6 months. I will be checking all profiles, ratings, comments etc. to weed out flakers, non-raters and other problem swappers. I am going to try my best to make this swap a positive experience for all involved.
