Description: | |
For our first group swap, we have the theme of 'feathers'! Your postcard creation must feature one or more feathers. You can use any medium you prefer. You can draw or paint feathers. You can print out a graphic image you have made or found. You can cut out pictures from a magazine of feathers. You can use rubber stamps or use paperstock images. You can even use real feathers, but make sure to affix them firmly so they will not be ripped off by the postal machines! It's always a good idea to cover your homemade postcards with clear packing tape, découpage glaze or something similar to protect them in transit. And, of course, make something that you would not mind receiving. So, don't just slap on a single feather image and call it done. Add a decoration or 2, some contrasting paper, glitter, etc. Make it fun! Postcards should be standard size, as per USPS, to mail for .34¢ -
Any similarities to any other swaps are coincidental. |
