Description:
Artist trading cards are small pieces of artwork. There are only 3 rules: The size must be 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches. They must be sturdy- no thinner than an index card. They must be swapped, never sold. This a swap for those new to Swap-bot or ATCs (us oldies are super welcome to.) The theme is open, but cards must be homemade. You will be creating and sending one card to your partner. Create anything- this is not profile based but if you would like to draw inspiration from your partner's profile- please do. Please do not put a sticker on an index card and mail it to your partner. (We call this sticker slapping, it is not allowed.) You are creating mini artwork so please put effort I to your piece. Only send something you would like to recieve in return. Please rate your returns promptly. Please remember hearts are given for returns that are were created and packed with love- not because they sent you a bunch of extras. Joining requirements: Profiles will be checked for unexplained 1s and 3s. Newbees welcome with a filled out profile and at swap organizers discretion.

Does an ATC have to be completely flat? Or can it have some 3d effect, like a ribbon/bow or wax seal?

yay, a swap for ATC noobs! I'm fascinated by them but just learning to make them...hope collages are ok as I can barely draw a stick figure. lol!

Ziggle, you will have a partner and swap-bot will let you know who :-) Happy candy dreams, sure they can stick up a bit. Just remember,post can be ruff on cards and embellishments, glue them down tight and make sure to have them hand cancled.

MrsCrissy The specifics only say it needs to be handmade so I think let your creative juices flow, but personally I always love a hand drawn ATC =o)

Yay. I'll be sending it out Monday. Last day. I hate that. But I had to wait for an answer. Anyway I got the one from my partner today. Its gorgeous!!

It is now 6pm and 10 have not sent their swaps. If you have mailed your swap, make sure you hit send. Sent means in the hands of a postal employee or post office. Please remember, all mail dropped into usps blue boxs are sent to regional post offices to be metered and will not be processed at your local post office. The date may show after the send date.
