Description: | |
There is a holiday for every day of the year. This swap needs us all to use the same holiday calendar. Go to this website for the calendar month of September. Using this calendar, you'll pick 4 different holidays from the month, you choose which four, and send something to your partner that has to do with the holidays you choose. Try to include a variety of gifts -- don't send four bookmarks, for example! Anything that comes to mind that represents that holiday, however, is fine.. September includes Mexican Independence Day, Read a Book Day, Emma M. Nutt day, Elephant Appreciation Day, International Peace Day and lots more. Dozens of possibilities for finding things to make your partner happy in September! Use your imagination! You will send your partner a total of 4 items, each one from a different holiday. After you have collected the 4 items, please send them all together to your partner by the deadline of 26 August. Include a note or card telling your partner which item is for which holiday or label the items! While it's not a requirement, some of us on previous month's swaps have been wrapping our items and putting the date but not the holiday on a label on the outside. That way our partners can open each surprise on the correct day which adds to the fun! The swap is sender's choice so you can start thinking about what to send even before the deadline! But obviously check your partner's profile so that you can make your parcel something they are really really pleased to get. This swap is Europe only and is open to anyone with 4.98 ratings or better, and no recent no-sends or lateness. New swappers with a full profile and at least two rated swaps are welcome. I will check profiles just before assigning partners. |
