Autumn mug rug

For this swap, we will have one partner to make a lovely autumn themed mug rug. This will be senders choice as long as you somehow incorporate autumn (colours, stitchery, piecing, etc) into your creation. The mug rug should be approximately 6" X 8" - don't sweat it too much. It's just an extra big coaster.

I realize that we are all at different levels of skill, but please try to make something that you would be excited to receive. Don't leave it to the last minute and slap something together. I am allowing a good length of time to create this and you can start right away if you like, since it is senders choice.
