Postcard Scavenger Hunt - Four Elements

Every day we warm ourselves by Fire, Wash ourselves in Water, Feel the Wind in our hair, Walk upon the Earth

In ancient times, considerable note was made of understanding the elements, for these were considered the building bricks of the Universe, and hence many believed that these were also part of the basic structure of themselves.

All of us now live amongst nature, even those in towns and cities, and most of us are quietened by walking in the countryside or along the seashore.

For this swap, you will send 4 blank postcards in an envelope to 3 partners (12 postcards in total) representing the 4 elements. These postcards can be store bought or homemade. The postcards don't have to depict the elements, it can be your interpretation of the elements (perhaps a color or emotion they represent to you). Please include a note with your name, the swap name, and how the cards interpret the elements.

The four elements and a common interpretation of them are:

Air = Thought

Fire = Desire

Water = Emotions

Earth = Stability

Anyone with a love of postcards and a rating of 4.5 or higher is welcome (if you don't meet the requirements and would like to join, please contact me). This swap is international.
