This swap is for exchanging stickies (sticky notes & markers), stickers and snippets of washi tapes. The idea is for the supplies to all fit on a folded card which we can carry around, peel off and use in our planners or for crafting! A big THANK YOU to @Artybeth3 for letting me use the ideas and terms from her washi tape swaps! :D First of all, get a thin cardstock/ heavier paper of A4 or letter-size of any colour or pattern. Fold it in half, and then one more time in half… and you have a quarter folded card! Front CoverDecorate this part like decorating a card front for your partner, in any way you like by incorporating sticker(s), washi tape(s), and at least 1 sheet of sticky note (stuck down well, with glue or dots or etc) with a quote or sentiment stamped/ typed/ handwritten on it! I make a quick sample for reference. On the back of the folded card, write down or add your swap label with this swap's name, your username & a short note for your partner. You may want to decorate this back part or just keep it undecorated, it's up to you. Then it’s time to fill up the inside with the stickies, stickers and snippets! Snippets (of Washi tapes)By washi tapes, I mean tapes made of washi paper and not plastic deco tapes. Open the card and you’ll see the 1st & 2nd panel. Prepare both sides for the washi tape snippets by neatly sticking clear packing tape or sticker sheet backing or wax paper on them. Next, vertically line with different washi tape samples, such that each sample is at least 13cm or 5 inches in length. If your washi tape is 1.5cm in width, you can have 6 designs on each side = total 12 samples. More or fewer samples you’re sending depends on the width of your samples. Sample of the card, when opened up 1 time. Now open up the card, you’ll have an A4 or letter-size space depending on your cardstock. StickersOn the top half of the cardstock, fill it up with stickers! You can glue or tape the backings of the stickers with double-sided tape to this part of the card. DO NOT peel the stickers off their backings! Simply glue the back of the flakes/ modules/ partial of a sticker sheet to the card, so that your partner can peel those stickers up easily. The stickers can be of any sizes and it’s also ok to paste 1 full sheet of stickers on a page. Please try to send a combination and variety of designs, and no reward stickers unless your partner asks for those. StickiesOn the bottom half of the cardstock, fill it up with different stickies (sticky notes &/or page markers), at least 4 sheets for each design. The stickies you sent must have designs or of special shapes, and not the plain, standard neon notes. Fully cover the card with the 3 types of supplies above, moderately spaced and NOT sparsely scattered, so that you can fit in a bigger variety of designs! Make sure no item is caught in the fold when you fold the card, and send nothing dirty or torn. The weight of the card + supplies + envie should be less than 40grams, and so won’t cost too much to mail internationally. Info for the sender: This swap is sender’s choice, but then again, do check profiles to see what style your partner totally dislike or does not want to receive. Info for the receiver: This is an international swap so do give some time for the mail to arrive. As long as your partner completed this swap following the requirements and mail promptly/ communicates, please rate a 5 regardless of whether or not you like the designs received. Hearts are given at your discretion if you feel that effort has been put in the swap you received :) The ratings for swappers joining is at least 4.98 with no recent 3s or 1s in the last 8 months, but I may remove anyone from this swap even if he or she fulfilled the requirements if I feel 'uneasy' since I'm still a newbie when it comes to hosting swaps :D. Lastly, when you have to rate your partner a ' 1 ' for flaking on you, I'll angel. |
