Can they be ad cards as well? I have some cool pirate-themed ad cards that I could send.

I guess the cards are to be sent written and stamped, not in an envelope?

An advertisement card. It's a card you get for free that advertises a certain product or service.

This is post cards....You can make one using your ad card but not just send an ad card.
