A swap card is a little like a business card that you can enclose with the swaps you send.
For this swap, you will create ten (10) swap cards for your partner's use.
- Cards should be 4" x 2", and include titles and spaces for the swap name, recipient's name, sender's name, and date.
- If you wish, you can use the template I created: PDF file HERE You are welcome to edit it once you have downloaded it to your own computer.
- After you have printed the template on card stock (NOT regular printer paper), cut the cards apart on the lines and add decorative elements like a stamped image, washi tape, stickers, or your own art. You can use plain, colored card stock, OR patterned card stock, or even your own monoprints - as long as the text can be easily read over the pattern.
- If you prefer not to use the template, you can create your own. Just be sure you follow the above size guideline, and include the required text.
- The ten cards can be all the same or different.
- Leave the back undecorated, so the swapper can use it to write a personal note if she wishes.
- Colors and art are sender's choice, but please do look at your partner's profile and avoid their dislikes.
Send ON TIME. This is one of the swap requirements, and you risk being rated a 3 if you send late.
Rate your partner promptly, fairly, and accurately.
Communicate with your parter and the host if there are problems.
Newbies are welcome with a reasonably filled-out profile.
I will thoroughly check all profiles and ban as necessary a day or two before assigning partners.
