Description:

This swap is a bit different from others I have done in the group. I have made some wonderful friends here & would love to know more about the area you live in. I don't get to travel & I think it would be interesting to learn about some new places. So here is a new swap for the group. I hope you all will like it.

Send your partner:

  • a letter about the area you live in. Letter must be at least 1 full page and can be typed or hand written. But longer letters are encouraged. Write about what you love about the area you live in, touristy attractions, history, what are some things in your area that you enjoy doing...

  • 2 touristy postcards from your area.

  • at least 1 brochure from an interesting place in your area.

  • a souvenir from your area (examples are a magnet, key chain...)

  • a surprise from your area (examples are a rock or seashell, a locally made item, an example of something from your area that means a lot to you...)

Have fun with this! Take your partner on a little trip to your neck of the woods! Send something that will help them learn about you and your area!

Do you mean in our immediate area (city) or state? I have a few ideas for this if I join.

I mean the immediate area that you live in. I live in a small town & will be including some information about the surrounding area. Of course, if your partner is from another state, you could include information about the state you live in. I do hope that you will decide to join! :)
