It can be from your town, somewhere you have traveled to or somewhere you wish to go, anywhere in the world! Write about your favourite thing to do there, a memory, anecdote or what you would like to do there if you have never been. Basically, say something interesting about the place featured on your postcard/why you chose that one.

Why is this a "Type 1: Electronic" swap if you send it by postal mail?

I think she probably just forgot to switch the format over when she made the swap. I do it myself all the time. I'm sure she'll fix it asap :)
