Description: | |
I have always liked color swaps. They are a good way to explore texture and pattern as well as the amazing range of options that fall within a single color. And vintage (as well as modern!) ladies are so lovely lets combine the two. As many of you know, a BTC is 3.5 x1.75 inches in size with a hole punched in the upper left corner of the front of the card. They are intended to be hung from a binder ring. It is allowed, even encouraged, for embellishments to extend beyond the edges. For the first in this series, we will do one side in blue and the other in orange.(Opposite side in opposite color cuz I'm nerdy like that!) Use any and as many or as few shades of the color as you want. The design must feature a vintage woman. You may use bits of other colors to enhance your artwork. If you want to plan ahead, the next one in the series will be yellow/purple. These BTC's are proving to be lovable little critters for those who have been swapping them, so if you've been thinking about joining but haven't yet, please do. The swappers who have been doing them are creating inspiring things. One partner, one BTC. |
