Using 2 or 3 little pots of H2 0s, spritz water once in the pot to activate the paint. On your craft sheet, spritz quite a bit of water larger than your ATC. Using one color at a time, spread the paint into your water on the craft sheet using a paint brush. I used a clean paint brush for my next color & another paint brush for my 3rd color. It is time to revisit this technique. I am trying to leave a little more time because of schools starting. Now rub your cardstock over the watered down paint on the craft sheet. Look at the cardstock to see if you have the results you want. If not, you can rub it again to pick up more color. My best results come from using watercolor paper. Your background is now finished. Let it dry & adhere it to a sturdy back. Now finish the ATC any way you would like. You may want to use rubber gloves if you do not want paint on your fingers. Be sure to add this to a sturdy backing. One ATC to 1 partner. |
