Please create 3 cards with fall leaves and send them to one partner. This is about fall, and not Halloween, so no jack-o-lanterns, or witches hats, or even "fun scary" items. Pumpkins are allowed as are scarecrows or crows.

Here is a fun fall poem, that is often read in grade school.

October's Party By: George Cooper

October gave a party; The leaves by hundreds came— The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples, And leaves of every name. The Sunshine spread a carpet, And everything was grand, Miss Weather led the dancing, Professor Wind the band.

The Chestnuts came in yellow, The Oaks in crimson dressed; The lovely Misses Maple In scarlet looked their best; All balanced to their partners, And gaily fluttered by; The sight was like a rainbow New fallen from the sky.

Then, in the rustic hollow, At hide-and-seek they played, The party closed at sundown, And everybody stayed. Professor Wind played louder; They flew along the ground; And then the party ended In jolly "hands around."

Words of the poem are not required. They are just for your inspiration.

Please use a sturdy backing, and make sure your cards have contact info on the back. Your cards need to measure 2.5x 3.5. Please be artful and send something you are proud to add your name to.

Although it hasnt been necessary yet, I do angel all my swaps, once you have contacted the sender twice and rated them a 1.

I also do both a USA only and an international version of my swaps. USA players you are welcomed to join both but keep in mind that if by the rare chance you get the same partner in both swaps, you can mail them together, but you do need to make your partners 6 different cards.

I love it too. I have vague memories of a teacher reading this poem to me in grade school.
