international, open to newbies with a filled out profile. If you've seen these before, then you might enjoy this "walk into the past"! These are cute little folded postcards, as you can see. Made of one-sided card stock, then folded, leaving room for the address and stamp, as you can see. The short sides overlap in back, held with a sticker or tape. (They are actually called "postalettes" - you can see what they look like if you do a search in sites like eBay) Swap Details: you will have two partners. To get an idea of the size, figure that when it's folded, it will be about the size of an envelope, and if you are making your own, start with a piece of card stock about 6"x8", or 7"x9". I'm giving three weeks so you can get creating right away! You will use two of these, the same or different, write a little note about yourself inside, include your return address, and ask your swapping partner to write back. Perhaps you will get a wonderful new penpal, maybe from a faraway corner of the world. Then fold it, it, close it with a sticker, put a stamp on it, and mail it to your partners. Easy as pie! (In my years, the only "easy" pie, is in a restaurant!) Any questions, please just ask, or message me. I hope you have FUN with these! (I hope you don't write anything too private, in your folded notes, but you MAY tape the sides closed before mailing, if you want.) |
