Description: | |
Draw or paint one postcard for your partner. The motif should feature at least one typical spring flower. (The card may also feature several flowers. It's up to you.) Flowers usually associated with spring are crocus, daffodil, tulip, snowdrop, pansy, hyacinth, daisy, bluebell, ... and also some early flowering shrubs and trees like azalea, forsythia, magnolia, apple, plum or cherry tree. You may decide to paint a flower not explicitly mentioned on this list, of course - but it has to be flowering in spring. You could (this is not a requirement per se because nobody can control it anyway, but it might be an interesting challenge) just go outside, find a nice park bench (or similar), sit down and draw/paint a flower you see. (If it's flowering right now, you can be sure it meets swap requirements.) Just take your drawing things and go outside! Of course, the card has to be hand-drawn or painted by yourself. The technique is up to you - but no collages, stickers or stamping, please. Use drawing and/or painting techniques only. Create something nice for your partner, something you can be proud of! :) The card will be sent "naked" - in the message on the back you could include a description of the technique(s) you used, or maybe simply good wishes. |
