| Installment two of a monthly series using a different technique each month to make home made postcards. Don't be afraid if this is your first time with a technique. We all learn sometime and you may stumble on a new love! This really is a simple swap. Make one post card for one partner using the listed technique. This month is washi tape. Pick some great washi or deco tape and create a deign or weave a pattern on the picture side of a post card. Tape needs to cover the entire side of the card and can even "spill" over onto the address side. Write a short note to your partner and address and mail. That's it. I am not going to define post card sized as if you want to go huge, you can; it will just cost you more to mail! :) I'm sure I left something out, but here are the basics: *****Card should not simply be strips of tape in straight lines. Let's get creative. Try weaving; try using the tape to create a pattern or picture; try something weird or new to you. You can do it! Have fun!!!!!!!! | |
