Sometimes we get so busy taking care of others that we don't make time for ourselves. The idea of this swap is to write a to-do list for your partner (a la Honey-Do list) and assign them little tasks that will make them take some time out for themselves. Example: 1. When you wake up in the morning, take time to stretch and be grateful for a new day. 2. Sing your favorite song while you're in the shower, as loud as you can. 3. Grab your favorite meal from your favorite fast food joint and don't consider the calories or what it's made out of. 4. Write down three things you're proud to have accomplished last month. These are just a few ideas. There is no minimum or maximum of "tasks to complete," five is a good number to shoot for if you end up stumped. Of course, you can do more if inspiration strikes. How you present your list (note card, typed list, handwritten letter, etc.) is entirely your preference. Obviously you won't know if your partner follows through on your to-do list, but the point is not the lists themselves but to share ideas of how to take a quick moment and perform a little self-care in between trying to save the world and just keeping things from falling apart. I have made this swap a Type 3 because of the handmade gift portion. Please put a lot of heart into your gift! It does not need to be profile based, but it should be something that inspires self-love whenever your partner looks at it. It could be a small painting, a homemade journal, felting, a piece of jewelry or key chain. The hard fast requirements are that it is handmade, you are proud to send it, and that it is something you would be glad to receive. This international swap is open to everyone. This is supposed to be a supportive and caring group, do not let your partner down! I will angel after you have contacted your partner and left a 1 rating.
