Be careful as many food items cannot be swapped internationally. Some spices even when it's commercially processed is thought to possibly contain seeds or insects that can damage the recipient's county's agriculture. Please be sure to check out the regulations involved.

I have joined a few of these rounds and I've never had problems with incoming or outgoing mail, but it is true that some countries have more strict regulations. Maybe it would be a good idea to only send factory sealed spices? I think it's more sanitary and safe, I have never had problems with sending or receiving loose tea or spices that are not factory sealed, but you never know, maybe it was pure luck hehe. It's just a suggestion, either way I'm super excited about this swap!

I swapped spices a lot of times with swappers from different countries and I never had any problems. However to be on the safe side: I will change the requirements to factory sealed packages. And please check your national import regulations before joining. :)
