note-card & washi tape swap

omg love this swap but usually a standard card can only fit 4 18 inch wasj just a question ? do u know of a bigger type pf card? watching

My 2 cents: Washi tape comes in all widths, so you could always put 4 standard tapes and a smaller width tape for the 5th one.

Or, create your own larger size surface (piece of card stock, an index card, or even cut up a note card) and cover it with clear packing tape.

Or use two playing cards. Wrap your tapes and then lay the cards side by side. Put a small snippet of tape on the middle touching edges to tape them together. Taped this way, they will still send in a note card for one first-class postage stamp (47 cents).

When doing it the last way, it's nice to fill up the rest of the cards with extra tape samples, because you might as well get your postage stamp's worth - and give your partner a little extra bonus. This is only if you have extra tapes though.

I'm not the swap host, but just wanted to give some other ideas (as I've swapped tons of washi samples over the years!!). :)

Although having said all that, now that I re-read the swap instructions, it says to include a note card w/envie for your partner. If you do this and use my 2-card route, you might want to add the 2nd ounce stamp (21 cents) to make sure you don't end up making your partner pay it because you went over. SORRY about all this!

Can I put my washi tape on more than one card?

Are people really that picky?
