I saw a demo with Tim Holtz on the technique a long time ago. On light colored cardstock you will tap or drag your ink pad across the cardstock. Start with the lightest color first & then add 2 or 3 more colors. For my sample, I used a shade of yellow, then used light blue & last was a darker blue. I let each color dry a bit before adding the next color so that I did not contaminate the next in pad with a different color of ink. In other words, I did not want yellow getting on my light blue ink pad. My yellow & light blue mixed together to make green in some areas so it looks like I used 4 colors. I really like the look. Once it is dry, you can stamp, draw or collage on your background. Add this to a sturdy backing. One partner will receive one ATC. | |
