Hello Everyone! I hope you can join this swap if you are looking to make your own junk journal, altered book or simply would like to swap ephemera. For this swap you commit to putting your heart and craft supplies into this swap!

Rules and what to do:

  • Sender picks two themes from the list
  • Partner chooses one theme and should comment there one theme from the list so sender can know what you chose.
  • you are to make two pages 5x8 or any desirable junk journal sized page that your partner can add to a future junk journal. The pages should be decorated from both sides. Many people on a previous swap asked about the pages if its 1 folded in half or if its two in a certain size. I say you choose as long as it can be used in a junk journal. For the pages you can add: tuck in spots, decorative art, pockets, dollies, photos ...etc...
  • You will create two tags as well. tags should be decorated on both sides one lightly than the other side.
  • ephemera catered to the two themes chosen by you and the one theme your partner posted on the comment section, fill an envelope of junk journal ephemera.
  • a note with swap name and what you have included. Feel free to share anything else like the process... etc...

I think I understand everything but just want to clarify...the pages and tags you (as the sender) create should be of the themes you have chosen. (Or can it be from the one theme your partner chose?) The ephemera you send, should fill an envie and should be in the two themes you've chosen plus some that your partner(the person you personally send to,) has chosen...correct? And if so, how do we know what theme our partner has chosen?

As the sender, I pick Shabby Chic and Vintage. Now, do I wait for my receiver to pick one before I start?

crystalite 04/ 9/2017 #

Or do I need to puck the theme I'd like my sender to send to me? I'm a little confused, and I want my partner to be happy?

amathyst7 04/10/2017 #

Your partner already chose just look who at who you are sending to, and then look for their username in the comments and you will see what theme they chose. Hope that helps.
