Let's have some washi scavenger hunt fun. You will have 1 partner to whom you will send a total of 5 washi tape samples (see note below). However there is a twist - - each one of your samples needs represent a different letter from the word that your partner posts below. For example: If I chose CLASP as my word, my partner might send me the following tape samples...
Hopefully you get the idea. Some will be obvious, but some you'll have to be little creative with. For example, if you had to come up with a tape representing the letter "U" and you didn't have any umbrella tapes in your collection, perhaps you might have something that "swims underwater." You may use any theme of washi tapes (colors, patterns, animals, foods, words, etc. - it's all good). (Note: Each tape should be 18 inches (45.72cm), and not be plastic nor the cheaper tapes found at the USA Dollar Stores. Please include a note that shows your partner's word and how your 5 tapes match up to each letter and hopefully this going without saying - - - - - please also decorate your mailing envelopes with tapes (on the front!) :). When you sign up, please put your chosen word into the comment section below. Have fun scavenging for tapes!! :) P.S. Lastly, anyone can join as long as they follow through on sending the swap. This group is all about happy mail. Flakers need not apply. Also, if you do not receive your swap from an international partner, do not "jump the gun" and rate a partner without contacting them once 2 weeks has elapsed, it is not unusual that a swap from another part of the world may take over 2 weeks to get to you - THANKS! |
