AMOPWBFS: Year of the Justifiably Defensive Lobste

In Discworld, 2018 is the year of the Justifiably Defensive Lobster. Celebrating a new year is worthy and should be done and in partners' hands prior to April Fool's Day.

Celebrate the prickly neurotic, erm sensitive crustaceans that carpet the waters (and also tables) of Ankh-Morpork by sending each of TWO partners something that you can afford to mail, be it a greeting card, a postcard, an envelope of goodies, ... Cleverness and erudite words and other hand-made creations are mostly rewarded over material goodies (the power of the dark, dark chocolate does give these a run for the money on some days for a few of us and it can currently be safely mailed as many of our AMOPWBFS flock are not suffering heated days). Media is sender's choice: paint, cut, weave, draw, quill, fabric, ink, or combine.

Item, size & envelope choice are also sender's choice - but some partners prefer 4x6 inch postcards to any other size, some prefer ATCs, and most of us prefer decorated envelopes when envies are used. If you chose a postcard, have it be at least 3.5 x 5 inches, use a sturdy enough backing, if it's not too fragile, send naked. (Adhere items well even if you do not mail naked.) If it's ATCs, one is fine but two seems a more generous greeting of the new year, especially if you are renewing your vow to behave more the way you want to be. Rate kindly.
