Description:

For this swap you will create an ATC with a silhouette of any kind. I was hoping for portraits but I'm starting to think that it may be too involved for people. Your sil can be of anything, a tree, the horizon, an animal, etc.

You will have only one swap partner, since there is only one partner, please make sure to make your ATC is detailed. Be creative. No stickers. Must be 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches.

For some help on how to make a silhouette, check out my website... http://www.eastwarddesigns.com/silhouettes.html

Must have at least a 4.7 rating, newbies welcome with a completed profile. I will be checking profiles.

The time between the sign up date and the send date is quick, so please be ready to send your ATC out on time.

This is my first attempt at coordinating a swap so please be patient and feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.

can you please post links with instructions for how to properly make one, i havent done this since gradeschool!!!

What I do is take a photo with a digital camera, black out the image using paint, resize it and print it out. Then I cut it out and use that as a template to cut out the silhouette onto cardstock. I'll put more complete instructions on my webpage and post the link when it's done. Thanks for joining the swap!

That's just the way I do it. You can always just use a regular photo of yourself as a template. Or, here are two links that have two completely different ways to make one. http://scrapbooking-paper-crafts.suite101.com/article.cfm/howtomakevictoriansilhouettes http://www.ehow.com/how16736cut-silhouette.html

my swap heading to Cincinnati, I hope you like it, Redwing, it's a little "different" from a typical silhouette, but I really do hope you enjoy it.
